There is no dearth of music games now with Guitar Hero and soon to be released Karaoke Revolution up on every musician’s list. Most music games require some sort of extra gadget to enjoy the game to the fullest. Guitar Hero has its guitar, while Karaoke Revolution comes with mikes and lights.

Rock Band 2- Band in a Box is one such game that is a full rock band set-up. You can form and make music with this game. It’s surely a revolutionary system. The peripheral bundle that comes as separate purchase comprises of 1 USB Microphone, 1 Drum Kit peripheral, 1 Guitar peripheral and 1 USB Hub.

All the peripherals come with various settings.

Guitar Peripheral- THE AXE!
ROCK! The guitar is based on Fender Strat model. This is used for both electric guitar and bass parts.
SHRED! – There is a set of buttons to play along by just finger tapping, no need to strum strings.
WAIL! – There is a 5-way FX switch that’ll allow you to adjust your affects setting to Wah Wah ,Flager or Echo etc.

THE SKINS!
THUMP! – The drum kit will let you drum as if it’s a proper real drum.
BANG! – These are pretty big and round and can take some hard bashing.
KICK! – This is an awesome footpedal that’ll let you kick-in with tempo just like the real thing.
TWIRL! – Real drum sticks
PARADIDDLE! – Built in joypad with buttons and direction pad for easy control of menus and other UI.

The bundled mike has four variations: howl, Screech, Scream, Keep Queit
