called gamestop, they comfirmed release date as of today 09-24-09 they have been shipped out and should receive my reserved by 09-26-09
Today (8/25/09) in the San Francisco Bay Area, many Best Buy stores have them on the shelves and a few Gamestop stores have already run through the stock they received this morning, though some may still have some unclaimed units left over.
They’re in my local BestBuy already.
