Playstation Move
Sony has now released the details regarding it upcoming motion controller. Besides the rumors that it would be called the Sony Arc but it’s officially announced as the Playstation Move. We also came to know that it will be accompanied by Playstation Move Subcontroller. The controls are somewhat similar to that of Wiimote and those who are familiar with Wiimote won’t face any difficulty. But in case of results the Move throws Wiimote way back as it is piled up with advanced visual tracking system and built in inertial sensors.
Sony has also enlisted number of games for the Move to come. The games include variety of genres and each game is designed by keeping in view the abilities of move, for instance to manifest Move’s motion tracking ability Sony has made a boxing game and to display it’s 3D interaction it has made Move party. Move gives you promising results which you can expect from the Sony. Move seemed to be the combination of the Wii, Project Natal and Game Trak Freedom motion controller for the Xbox 360. But the thing which makes it different from the rest is its increment of reality applications. For it makes it more interactive with the environment around us.

Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
On December 14 2009 Ubisoft announced that they are going to launch the new Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, on all next generation gaming console including Playstation 3. This game will be new addition in the prince of Persia charter, with all new gameplay, fighting style and exciting new moves and one of my best features in the game is controlling nature and time. The update from the Ubisoft is the new game will revolve between Prince of Persia Warrior Within and Prince of Persia Sands of time.
The entire game revolves around the Prince of Persia Sands of Time and Warrior within, in the beginning of the game our Prince goes to visit the empire of his brother in Azad, as he reaches there he finds that his brother kingdom is attacked and under destruction. To save the kingdom from total destruction, decision was made to use the Sands of Time. The prince comes across in a heroic action/ adventure where he learns new moves and new secrets of the Sands. The graphics and gameplay of the game is outstanding. So I would be whole new experience for the Prince of Persia fans to find out the secrets connecting the Sands of Time and Warrior Within.

Mafia II
Mafia II is a finely polished tale of crime, honor and betrayal that not only ups the ante on its predecessor, but could challenge some of the PS3’s elite titles in terms of class. Our hero, Vito Scaletta is a war veteran returning home to Empire Bay, but as a Sicilian immigrant with no money he finds himself seeking easy cash through the local gangster networks, working his way from associate to fully fledged made man. While Empire Bay is an open sandbox, it seems that Mafia will be more story-driven then we would normally expect. It will span ten years in the life of Scaletta, from the mid-Forties to mid-Fifties, and the city will change and develop in keeping with the advancing years. Where other games would have free-flowing day/night cycles and weather, everything is tightly scripted to the missions to reflect the tone of the story being told.
Gameplay-wise there’s depth that goes beyond even what we’ve seen in the GTA IV. Breaking into cars can be done by smashing a window, but you can also pick the locks and hotwire them. The wanted system for the cops is very aggressive and is based on the police putting out a visual description of you or your car that will force you to change clothes or visit a garage. If you do go to a chop shop then you can not only select a new paint job, but also tune and improve your car, from the engine to the number plate.

Lost Planet 2
Well now, the first thing you’ll notice on playing Lost Planet 2 is that it’s speed up. No longer do you feel as if you are running through treacle. You will also be pleased to know that Capcom has looked at the like Halo and Call of Duty to create a faster, more fluid experience. Oh, and it’s not going to be a late, poor conversion for PS3, it’s already looking and running lovely, so can only get better. In fact, we were told Capcom would rather concentrate its time on making more guns. It’s good logic – who cared about the characters from the first game anyway? Capcom have taken cues from Monster Hunter, enabling players to customize their character – the number of combinations reaches the 2 million mark, according to Capcom.
While there is plenty of loot to be had through the game, it’s of s superficial nature – this is, after all, an action game first and foremost. Those who ignore the dress-up game and keep their focus away from grinding for loot won’t be on the back foot, ability-wise, by pressing on. Capcom is pushing the four-player co-op aspect. Certain levels we’ve seen, such as fighting the massive worm on the train, actually require players to work together in order to emerge victorious. We don’t know if that would even work in an Al-less single player mode. Lost Planet 2 will be anything other than good so far, which is nice.

Iron Man 2
The Iron Man didn’t make its mark and was not responded highly. Kyle Brink the innovative director of Iron Man 2 knew that the first game was not so captivating at all. He only had 14 months to put an end to this project whereas for the usual PS3 game is takes about almost 24 to 36 months to finish. But Brink didn’t lose heart and regardless of the tough schedule he kept determined. I saw the Iron Man 2 game at a preview event in New York, and it was worth Brinks sweat and blood.
The game is all new and improved; the thing which I like the most was the consistency of the controls. The moves which you can do on ground can also be performed in air. Another thing which makes this game more dramatic and fascinating is the lock-on mode similar to that of Batman: Arkham Asylum, the lock on mode makes it a lot easier to finish off the enemy by pulling you in direction of an enemy irrespective of whether they are near or far.
As usual you will be operation some cool weapons which are on your left and right shoulders and are controlled by left and right triggers, and of course, a radar for tracking enemies and showing threats.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
May be we could get an all new suburban town. Wouldn’t it be nice to escape the bright lights and loud noise of the big city? Rockstars could finish what they were planning with the GTA IV. It might be fun to see GTA Episodes from Liberty City drop the story entirely and go back to its arcade roots on PS3. Remember them? Once upon a time GTA was all about your score. The reason you went around completing missions performing random acts if violence was because it all got your points, aside from having fun your goal was just to top the high score table.
All new variety of vehicles, how about some crazy transport like JCB digger or Abrams tank, And there’s obviously a helicopter in GTA Episodes from Liberty city, but we’d happily pay extra for a jetpack or hang-glider. For the game about brutal, violent criminal underworlds, GTA’s melle combat has barely moved on from the original PC game. We’re not asking for a hugely fleshed out system of combos and health bars, but it’d be nice if Rockstar made it a little more weighty and satisfying for us to talk someone down with our bare hands like the real man that we are. Some more varied animations and a little more control when things get close and personal would be appreciated.

Now the PS3 is not only Slim, it is also Portable!!
Hori, one of the gaming accessory makers in Japan, has a surprise that we will all like. The company is set to launch in Japan on May 27 the HP3-87, an add-on that wraps around your Playstation 3 Slim and has a 11.6-inch notebook-style display which features a 1366×768 display resolution with LED backlighting, a 200 nit brightness, 500:1 contrast, and 7ms response time.
In addition to that, the HP3-87 has built-in stereo speakers along with twin earphone jacks. Other connectivity is limited to a set of component and composite inputs, which is compatible with Sony’s Torne TV tuner and DVR for the PS3. Although the dock is supposed to free you from your big-screen HDTV, however, it does bulk up the PS3 Slim, which could make it annoying to lug around.
The expected cost of this item would be a retail price of 26,000 yen (about $275) and there is no news from the company about the availability of this product in other locations around the world yet.

Assassin’s Creed II for PS3 Slim
Finally the much-awaited Assassin’s Creed II
was launched in November 2009. For those new to PS3 gaming, Assassin’s Creed
is an action-adventure series of games meant for both PS3 and XBOX360. It’s published by Ubisoft Montreal and they have planned PC version of the game for a 2010 release.
Beating all odds and expectations the game sold 1.6 million copies in the first week of release. Ubisoft said that the PS3 and Xbox game sales were 30% better than the Assasin’s creed original title that was released in 2007. The overall graphical artistry, use of historical data, character background and better game engagement quality are some of the reasons behind the success of this game.
The story moves around ‘Animus’, which is a machine that allows the players to see genetic memories of Desmond Miles, the chief protagonist. Thus as player you’d be taken through the history of Desmond’s ancestors, along line of assassins.
A major success-point of the game is its ability to use real-life historical events and characters within the game’s storyline. Animus will enlighten the journey of a nobleman-turned-assassin Ezio Auditore Da Firenze, who belongs to 15th-16th century Italy. The story moves through the renaissance period and encounters many known characters including Machiavelli.
With a price tag of only $60 and record sales this is a must-have game for your PS3.
